Faceplate Color

The aluminum case and all aluminum brackets are treated by an anodizing process for corrosion protection and a long lasting uniform finish. The rear portion of chassis is black anodized. The faceplate and buttons can be either black or silver.

The Faceplate can include custom graphics and lettering during the anodizing process. Graphics can include company logo, button labels, system specs, and warning labels. Artwork to be provided by customer. Artwork should be in a vector format for best results. Preferred file format is PDF or Adobe Illustrator.

  • Single color artwork ($150)

  • Two color artwork ($200)

The one-piece rack mount faceplate incorporates rack mounting into the faceplate for a seamless look. The overall width of the faceplate is 19". Oval mounting holes are centered at 18.312". Faceplate height is 3.50" (2U).

VFD Display Mounting

Faceplate is machined with a cutout to fit a Matrix Orbital 2x20 display. Can be used with or without tinted filters. The blue filter looks nice with our blue power LED. Includes mounting hardware and spacers. Display and filter not included.

IR Receiver Mounting 

IR Receiver Sensor

 
Faceplate is machined with a very small sensor opening for a infrared receiver. Two types of IR receivers are available.

The CIR receiver works well with Intel motherboards that include a 2x4 CIR header, some other MB's may also include this header. The CIR has a 5V stand-by power circuit which allows the system to be powered up and down depending on the remote control and how the power button functions.

The USB receiver attaches to a USB 2.0 header on the MB. Works with all MB's. Since the USB port powers down with MB, this sensor will only allow sleep mode.

Includes IR receiver and internal cable. Both IR receivers work with Windows 7 Home Premium and Ultimate versions, no drivers are required.

This Windows Media Center remote control works with both IR receivers. It has all the basic Media Center control buttons and is compatible with Windows 7 Home Premium and Ultimate versions, no drivers are required.

Face plate can be machined with cutout to fit a USB port adapter. Select between standard USB 2.0 or the new USB 3.0 port. Internal cable plugs into the USB header on your motherboard. USB 3.0 requires your MB to have a special 2x10 USB 3.0 header. Most MB's only have external USB 3.0 ports on the rear panel. Dual port design has two ports side by side.

Hard Drive Mounting

3.5" Drive Isolation System

The Mini-Client 2500 includes a mini version of our Drive Isolation System used in our storage cases. The Drive Isolation System suspends the drives in a aluminum module which absorbs the heat from the drives. The drive module floats on specially designed isolation pads eliminating noise from vibration.

Note: Drive Isolation System is available for either one 3.5" HDD's or three 2.5" drives HDD's. Cannot be used with VFD option. The (3) 2.5" HDD mounting option must be selected with the VFD option.

The HeatSync® Cooling System eliminates the need for fan cooling of the processor. With our cooling system installed, heat from the processor is transferred into the heatsink case for dissipation to the outside air. On some motherboards, a separate HeatSync® system can be installed on the chipset.
